THE LONG WAY HOME
PAINTING
FELIX ZILINSKAS
(VENEZUELA)
DETAILS
Acrylic on canvas
192 x 112 cm
2023
DESCRIPTION
"The Long Way Home," a captivating acrylic masterpiece on an expansive canvas, boasting dimensions of 112 x 192 cm. The artwork's mesmerizing allure lies in its profound utilization of the color red, which instantaneously seizes the viewer's attention, demanding a deeper exploration.
Upon closer examination, one discovers a rich tapestry of varied red hues adorning the canvas, seamlessly converging to form a vibrant urban landscape. At the heart of this dynamic composition, a remarkable protagonist emerges—a resolute woman cradling a fishbowl. Her presence amidst the bustling cityscape signifies an allegory for our enduring quest to navigate the intricate complexities of the concept we call "home."
Symbolically, the elephantine house gracefully departs from its accustomed abode, embodying the delicate emotional and physical connections we forge with our notions of home. It serves as a conduit between the tangible elements that surround us, such as mattresses, windows, tiles, or wood, and the intangible yet profound aspects of our existence, encompassing security, love, support, and hope.
In our individual journeys through life, we frequently grapple with these myriad sentiments, often discovering solace and strength within the minutiae and symbolic fragments that bear witness to our personal stories.
"The Long Way Home" beckons viewers to embark on a profound introspection, inviting them to unravel the threads that bind them to their own unique understanding of home. Through this evocative artwork, the artist provides a contemplative space for personal reflections, where observers can unearth the intricate web of connections that intertwine their lives with the very essence of their dwelling.

THE GEOMETRY OF THE SUN
PAINTING
FELIX ZILINSKAS
(VENEZUELA)
DETAILS
Acrylic on canvas
160 x 130 cm
2022
DESCRIPTION
The Geometry of the Sun
The sun as we know it is but a small part of the infinite universe, and we are just a tiny part of its composition. "The geometry of the Sun " is a symbolist painting made with acrylics on canvas by contemporary artist Felix Zilinskas that tries to represent how we complement each other with every being on the planet, how we are part of a whole.
The current state of the planet causes us much despair and confusion. We are disconnected from what is essential, causing us to think we are alone in this world. However, once we truly understand how life works, we realize how powerful a force we can become. In the geometry of the Sun, a human figure integrated with the Sun represents how every human being is unique and has his own independent identity, yet our shared humanity still connects us.
In my work, I seek to create in the audience what I call "pauses to think." Through contemplation, I hope that people connect with emotions and thoughts they might not have expected. It goes beyond what you can find in the painting, it is about what the painting helps you find within yourself.

THE AHAB'S DREAM
PAINTING
FELIX ZILINSKAS
(VENEZUELA)
DETAILS
Acrylic on canvas
92 x 72 cm
2021
DESCRIPTION
Moby Dick is a work of profound symbolism. It is often considered to share characteristics of allegory and epic. It includes references to themes as diverse as biology, idealism, hierarchy, obsession, politics, pragmatism, racism, religion and revenge.
The crew of the Pequod has origins as varied as Chile, Colombia, China, Denmark, Spain, France, Holland, India, England, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Malta, Portugal and Tahiti, suggesting that the Pequod is a representation of humanity. .
In this piece, we present Ahab, the captain of the ship Pequod, merging with his environment. He is part of the sea, part of the sky and part of the white demon "Moby Dick" that earlier tore off his leg. Moby Dick represents, on the one hand, the tireless quest to reach those dreams of a life that lie in the abyss of meaning, something that has absorbed part of your own life and, at the same time, is the engine that drives you and gives meaning to your life. It is very close to what any artist faces in his growth process.

DESCRIPTION
I have always thought that the transition to becoming an adult is defined by the awareness we have of the possible consequences of our decisions. Obviously, as we grow, our actions and their consequences also grow. Separating from the "home" where you were born goes far beyond a physical act, it implies a deep decision to change; On the one hand, the fear of leaving the comfort zone (for some) and on the other, the longing for the possibility of growing and finding who you really want to be.

THE KISS
PAINTING

(SWITZERLAND)
DETAILS
up-/re-cycling art), fabric , acrylic and impasto gel on glass
40,5 x 40,5 x 6 cm
2022
DESCRIPTION
I see my artistic activity as a kind of peacemaking action. I want to spread harmony and draw people's attention to something beautiful. I want to touch hearts and sometimes evoke questions in the viewer that can lead to open communication: between all of us or within ourselves, which I believe is always very important for personal and collective development and positive changes.
For me, the sale of my works is more than a simple act of trade: I want to give collectors - in addition to a certificate of authenticity, which is an obligatory part of the artwork - the exclusive right to a lifetime of personal pleasure.
With "The Kiss" I created a piece of happiness.
Romantic. Aesthetic. Modern. Emitting good vibes.

DREAMS
PHOTOGRAPHY
JORDI NIN
(SPAIN)
DETAILS
Analogic photograhy
100 x 100 cm
2023
DESCRIPTION
The work DREAMS is part of the PELL MUTANT collection, a photographic work of archeology of the present that looks for the migratory spaces of the city where people leave their messages. The work has been based on finding these spaces hidden from the distracted gaze of the passerby and deciphering the images and messages of all kinds that are superimposed on the walls. Out of context and through a new look, I transform these messages into a new visual dimension, provoking a sociological and aesthetic reading of this universe of the city. The work DREAMS was realized in Barcelona, in the Raval district.
One of the tools I have chosen for this project is a medium format film camera, a Hasselblad made in Sweden in 1969. An analogue camera – like this Hasselblad – in 6×6 format requires slow work and thoughtful Every time the shutter is pressed we have a unique photo that captures what your eye and your heart are saying. One of the values of analog film is precisely its analog nature, because this is also how our senses perceive the world.
All works by PELL MUTANT are available in limited series printed on Hahnemüle "fine art" 100% cotton paper in 100 x 100 cm format. All are numbered, signed and have a certificate of authenticity.

This painting is made up of 5 background colors which try to represent emotions or feelings: Pink (represents sweetness and delicacy), Yellow (Happiness, fun and spontaneity), Blue (Represents the color of that person's room), Red (Love and attraction) and White (innocence and beginning).

DESCRIPTION
After breaking up with a person, we all need time to heal the wounds, leave all things in the past and try to mend the heart that has been broken.
Leaving him and opening my eyes was the best decision I could make.
This painting is made up of 1 background color, vanilla yellow which represents rebirth, it is the painting that has the least background color, because I wanted to break the relationship between the 3 paintings and the last one, since it was a way of saying that I had broken up with that relationship, that I didn't take anything from him or the bad times he put me through, I wanted to break with everything, it was a way of saying that I wanted to heal myself, that I needed my heart to heal, alone, without anyone.
I can only say to that person: Thank you for loving me so little and so badly for 3 years of my life, without you these paintings would not have been possible.

DESCRIPTION
Michelangelo has sculpted the David focusing on the beauty and harmony of his physique. Instead, I have transformed and personalized it, adding to the beauty of the suffering represented through the pieces of iron, which intersperse the beautiful and balanced muscle with the rudeness that represents life itself.
I have made him more human through my own pain.
The careless visitor may think that I have limited myself to making a copy, but whoever looks at it carefully realizes that I have only taken the original as a reference and have humanized it, transporting it in time, with all that this entails.
